This season we dig a little deeper to uncover wonderful truths about our faith and community.

It’s spring. There is a scent of hope in the air. We are climbing out of our winter caves and having a big stretch. There is some dusting off to do. It has become a bit stale in there. Time to open the windows, let some fresh air in and get out into the sun.

Eastern hills community church are excited to host REGIME MUSIC GROUP as they share their story of hope through music, rap and dance.

New Series – The first book of the New Testament Over five weeks we will be exploring the book of 1 Thessalonians. This book is probably the earliest writing we have from the Christian era. It contains the earliest recorded thoughts for the church. This short letter is the beginning.

In 2013 we celebrate the lives of a few saints from America. We find courage, strength, wisdom and joy in blessing God for the saints around the world. These stories help us to know again our faith, God’s grace and our place in a beautiful family.

On the first Sunday of each month the ehills Sunday service will happen over dinner. This new rhythm offers us a morning to unplug and the evening to connect, give thanks and share in a meal. Beginning June 2.

Promise-keeping, truthfulness, hospitality, and gratitude have often been understood as duties or obligations, things we ought to do. They are much more than duties, however; they make living in community possible, as well as good, sometimes even beautiful.

This Art Sunday we look forward to meeting our guest writer Ben Chenoweth. We will enjoy a reading from this amazing book The Ephesus Scroll. Ben will also be giving some excellent tips on writing and publishing. So come along and bring any friends interested in the art of writing.
